I’ve lived here on the same farm since 1976 and and have fallen deeper and deeper under the spell of the wild places as the years go by. I keep my sanity by hiking and being outside as much as I can.
When I lived in Madison, I was one of the first members of the Willy St. Co-op collective in the early days when we were in the very first store.
I spent 10 years as a wildlife rehabilitator and have been a falconer since 1984. I love nothing better than sharing my love for birds and their haunts with others. I encourage everyone with windows to put minnow seine netting over them, and to look with a jaundiced eye on industrial wind power. Ask me about my dogs and you’re a friend for life.
