From my very first understanding of the meaning of pollution, I have been drawn to environmental protection. Youthful intrigue grew into a life’s work; I hold a Bachelors in Environmental Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, and a Masters of Civil Engineering specializing in Pollution Control and Waste Management from the University of British Columbia. Further to my education I have worked with regulatory agencies including Environment Canada, Saskatchewan Environment and SaskWater, municipalities, both as an employee and a consultant, and a consulting engineering firm.
I came to the United States in 2008 to be with my husband Luke. Although not originally from the area we fell in love with the Driftless region and decided to make it our home. I am very excited to be with the VSN and further develop my expertise of water and the environment, to provide stewardship and leadership in the community and to continue to learn about the Kickapoo Watershed and its people.
